Process for Aquiring New Meter Settings

1. Know the exact location of the property and landowner, Road number and street address.
2. Need a copy of your recorded General Warranty Deed to show ownership of the property.
3. All people named on the Warranty Deed will be required to sign a Water Users Agreement in the office.
4. You will need to make full payment for the meter setting at the time of sign-up then you will be placed on the list. Normally it will take two to three weeks before meter is actually set.

 

The costs of meter setting will be determined by whether or not the water main is on your property or across a gravel or blacktop road. The following cost includes a ten dollar membership fee.

 

Short side meter being one where water main is on the property cost $2200.00
Long side being one where water main is across the road cost $4000.00

 
All line extensions must be approved by the Board of Directors at a regular scheduled Board Meeting.

 

After you become a customer of the District you will be required to make monthly payments for availability and/or for water used each month. If you do not make the monthly payments then the meter will be disconnected without notice for non-payment and to reconnect you will be required to PAY THE WATER USAGE UP TO THE DAY METER IS DISCONNECTED AND PAY A $75.00 RECONNECTION FEE.
