Water rates, meter sets and line extensions increase.

At the November monthly Board Meeting, the manager presented the 2024 budget for Board approval. After reviewing the budget Board decided to increase there water rates, meter sets and line extensions due to the increasing cost to cover the increasing expenses . Thomas Hill received an increase on the October 2023 water rate from its main water supplier Clarence Cannon Wholesale Water Supply and has been absorbing that increase to wait until after the 2024 budget was presented so that we would not have to do two water rate increase the same year. in The new water rate will be $12.00/K and the availability will increase to $16.00. This will go into affect on the water bill you get at the end of December 2023 water usage.

The following will go into affect on January 1 2024, meter sets for a short side (watermain on the same side of the road as the meter set) will increase to $2200. For a long side (watermain on the opposite side of the road as the meter set) will increase to $4,000.

Line extensions, will increase to to $10.00 per foot.
